The Art of Taxidermy by Sharon Kernot

The Art Of Taxidermy is a story about a girl who is intrigued by death. She collects dead things and keeps them in her room. She loves her collection of dead things a lot. Her aunt disapproves and tries to get rid of her collection multiple times but she always collects more. Eventually, she starts experimenting with taxidermy and realises that that is what she wants to do.

Annie is dead???!!!

I enjoyed The Art Of Taxidermy, but found it slightly morbid. It was written as a collection of poems which made it an interesting read. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes death, poetry or emotional stories.
